The Church of the Cross

Pastor James Lotz founded Bible Baptist Church in 1982. He moved from the Meadville area in 1994. After being called to the ministry as a young man, Pastor Philip Thomas followed Gods calling September 25, 1982. He has pastored five churches in the Clarion, Armstrong, Butler, and Crawford counties. He has led Bible Baptist Church since June 24, 1995. Our worship involves prayer , singing the old fashioned hymns , and preaching from the Word of God. We are always happy to see new faces and are looking forward to welcoming you to our church family.

Mission Statement

Our mission at Bible Baptist Church is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection to an unsaved, sinful, dying world, with the hope of seeing many people come to Jesus Christ the Lord for salvation by faith in Him alone. Simply put we are an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church seeking to preach the Word, to see souls saved and to see lives changed.

At the Heart of Everything We Do

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God; therefore, it is the foundation of our church. We will not be swayed by the current events of the day or any version of political correctness.

I Thessalonians 2:13 ..."when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe".
